3/17/09 - Tired and sore, we have returned from Madison, WI, where we sold our koffee at Canoecopia for the fourth year in a row. I am amazed every year at how big (and busy) this event can be. We had people lined up to both sample and buy Kinetic Koffee. We were invited to share a large booth with the kind folks at Teva, who really made us feel welcome. And the Sunkosi 2 shoes are great!
The most rewarding part for me was the sheer number of attendees who told me how glad they were to see us again this year and purchase koffee. We offered two new roasts this year. In addition to the ever-popular Morning Mayhem and Breakfast Buzz, I brought some bags of Espresso Kinetico and our newest roast, Kama Sumatra. I had no idea how popular these new roasts would be and was amazed to see them both sell out halfway through the first full day! I have already received a couple of calls from customers who purchased at the show telling me how much they are enjoying the koffee. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
This year, we also partnered with Rutabaga (the dealer who puts on the event) to donate a dollar from every bag sold to Big City Mountaineers, a non-profit group giving inner-city youth the opportunity to experience the great outdoors.
